time to introduce myself ✨ …again LOL i had plans of posting last year and that went out the window because of burnout and health and life. BUT i do want to post, be a little creative, just share my love of books and storytelling, and rave about my favorite things with yall. before i continue to do that i figured i’d introduce myself with the ✨vibes✨ collage that the @owlcrate social media team so wonderfully made. aside from that practically representing who i am, i figured i’d drop some other little tidbits about myself below: 🌷i graduated from a masters program at pratt institute in 2024 with a focus on user experience/product design 🌼 i’m based in nyc, brooklyn born and raised, but ethnically from bangladesh! 🥀 i started a small business on new years day 2025 for event signage @sunrise.mementos 🌻i’ve been a part of OwlCrate since October 2022 ❣️ 🌸 i’m a big mood reader and will chaotically read 7 books at once if i feel inclined to (and some of my fave books are featured in the collage!)

𝔟𝔢𝔱𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔩𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱 𝔞 𝔠𝔞𝔫𝔡𝔩𝔢, 𝔟𝔢𝔱𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔩𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱 𝔱𝔴𝔬… 🕯️ The Gravewood by @kayaydrew was the March YA @owlcrate pick, and it was a bloody good time 🩸 🌲 the jacket and edges were done by @tropicalgloom we’ve worked with them before on Kelly’s previous book, Your Blood, My Bones and thought their art style matches the vibe of this book perfectly, i leaned into the main character Shea and how the Gravewood slowly starts to consume her 🏍️ the reverse was done by @lorenzo_.conti who did a magnificent job capturing the moody tones of the story, and our main characters, i wanted to showcase all 4 of them within a scene that causes a turning point in the story 🪾the hardcase was designed by @heyatlascreative who did a great job of drawing out the details of the story in an elegant way, and it looks lovely in brown and gold, combining a more rustic feel into the design 👑 the end pages were beautifully done by @wraithofthavalon who always knows how to create the perfect atmosphere for our characters, i wanted to showcase the character’s yearning in these drastically different scenes 🥀 the signed tip-in was done by me! leaned into the woodsy and bloody vibes of the book and all copies are signed by the author (and is available to purchase!)

a very special collection of my fave cozy fantasies 🌻✨ the @owlcrate Cozy Witches Set in collaboration with @sangumandanna , and working with @stubbornpagemage ! this was a dream project of mine for a good two years now and being able to see the finished set is so so amazing and i just had to show them off! below are some of the thoughts behind the brainstorm that i did with Alyssa: 🪻the covers and edges are such a stunning part of the book that had us fawning over, and was done by @runamareuty ! Runa did an amazing job bringing my ideas to life and adding her own, and the level of detail on her artwork is absolutely insane, it truly brought the books to another level 📚 the reverse was done by @lyraina_art who worked with Alyssa on bringing the beautiful setting of both books to life! this was some stunning art direction and Johanna brought us a little more into the story with these gorgeous settings 🐝 the hardcase features two patterns with foil, artwork done by @offthehookstudio and Lindsay is wonderful and easy to work with, it’s almost like she reads my mind! the hardcases are so adorable and really fit the vibe of the books with the gorgeous little elements 🫖 the end pages were sone by @sereneillustrations who also worked with Alyssa! when Alyssa brought this idea to me i thought it was brilliant, and Serene really captured the cozy feel these stories bring 🪴 finally, the signed tipin pages were designed by me! it’s always fun drawing little elements onto these pages that add a little oomph to our edition i hope whoever has gotten the set loves them as much as i do (and it’s still available in the shop if you’d like one!) 🤍

so this is love 🦢 the first @owlcrate YA book of 2026, the swan’s daughter by @roshanichokshi ! let’s go into the details: @giannyfili did the gorgeous art for the jacket! i took some inspiration from barbie swan lake to portray Demelza and her swan form, and had the castle in the back which added a nostalgic fairy tale vibe like i had seen in Snow White and Cinderella 🏰 the edges were done by @lichen_and_limestone and this was our first time doing gilded detail work on an edge! i leaned into the feather imagery and it took several tries to get the color right with the way the edges were being made, but i’m super happy with how it turned out 🪽 the reverse art was done by @shannonwildsmith who managed to extract the exact dreamy vibe i wanted from my mind! we leaned into the veritas swans imagery showcasing how Demelza was different, and the expectations of her father as well with the quote 🪺 @peachie.mochi drew two beautiful end page scenes with our main characters! the first one shows the early stages of the couple together, while the second shows the culmination of their relationship after everything 🤍 @forensicsandflowers created the beautiful hardcase art, which features a winged key for how love has been represented throughout the story for Demelza, and the tree on the back for Arris and how he’s seen love represented 🗝️ and the tip in signed by the author and designed by me! this was such a unique project to work on especially with a new spec involved, but i’m so happy with how it turned out and i hope you all love it too 🦢

❄️🍂 a fate so cold by @amandafoody @cl_herman the gorgeous @owlcrate december ya book! this one was so much fun to work on, especially with the authors really making sure all the details were right and worked well with the overall design and the artists bringing the vision i had to life beyond expectations - the jacket and edges by @superstarfighter is a gorgeous blend of summer and winter portrayed in the book, while featuring both main characters in their honest expressions - the hardcase by @lichen_and_limestone is a play on school textbooks, showing the wands and the facts that the students learn about their details and history - the two foiled end pages by @jessichenliu show both characters in pivotal moments of the book where the prophecy has chosen them both - the reverse by @nir4z shows the duo together fighting against the start of the winter that may destroy their home
