There is a version of you that was soft and unguarded, that pursued curiosity without question. You might have followed the path of petals simply because it was beautiful or spoke to creatures and believed they might answer back. That part of you has not gone, it has always been with you waiting in the shadows. The white hare, crowned in blooms, reminds you that wonder is not something we outgrow, but something we forget to tend.
To return to it means joy without permission, curiosity without fear, and the quiet magic of seeing the world as if it were still full of small, secret wonders.

We often learn through stories that when we venture into the unknown, danger awaits. Yet the perils we meet are not always what they seem. The sea serpent beside your ship may not be an enemy, but a guide that leads you to safe passage or to a hidden shore you could not have found alone. What first appears threatening may reveal itself as protection, or even refuge, when seen with new eyes. Unfamiliar waters that stir fear can also bring possibility.

Have you ever had the whimsical urge to leave everything behind and jump on a mysterious train that will take you to lands unknown - filled with new experiences and people you’ve never met?
This piece took hours of slow, thoughtful work, even though what you’re seeing here is mostly the last bits of detail work and sped up ☺️
I wanted to draw a scene to show the quiet mystery of a night train arriving while balancing feelings of hope, nostalgia and spontaneity.
Some journeys aren’t loud or heroic.
They’re quiet.
Night Train is part of my upcoming oracle deck for those moments.
For the in-between spaces,
the unanswered questions,
and the hope that rides with us
long after the station lights fade.
