[Jalan Saloma Padi] A Sonic Screening 🎞️🎶 Some films take years to make. Jalan Saloma Padi took three, not because of delays, but because one song by P. Ramlee couldn’t be secured. Instead of giving up, the film took a creative detour, bringing together musicians and composers from Singapore and beyond to create a fully original seven-track soundtrack from scratch. That necessity reshaped the film and gave it a new voice.
