The TEXTURE ON SET AWARDS recognize those whose life’s work has made space for Textured Hair and Black Beauty. They honor the artisans, builders, and leaders who have architected space and systems for Black hair to exist- who have demanded textured hair as craft and standard, and who continue to advance texture equity—not as representation, but as fundamental infrastructure.
