Maybe you have seen these ICE whistle around - if not - they are in coffee shops all over LA. as many communities are feeling scared, violated and uncertain - we need to take care of our neighbors more than ever.
This whistle is an easy, low-tech way to share information quickly and look out for our neighbors.
Here’s a quick guide. There are just two signals to remember:
Code 1: Three short, quick whistles. This means ICE is in the area. Use it to alert neighbors quickly.
Code 2: One long whistle. This signals ICE is detaining someone. It’s a way to let folks know someone might need help.
Remember, only use these whistles in real situations to keep your community informed. For more information, visit . Stay safe and look out for each other.
… If you see ICE activity, you can safely document what’s happening using the SALUTE method. Share this info with your local rapid-response network. In LA, you can report to @uniondelbarrio and call them at 213-444-6562.
* S – Size: How many officers or agents are present?
* A – Activity: What are they doing? If someone is detained and you know their A-number or other identifying info, note it.
* L – Location: Give the exact address or nearest intersection. Be as precise as possible.
* U – Uniform: Any letters, patches, or identifying details on uniforms, jackets, or vehicles. Examples: CBP, ERO, DHS, HSI, local police units.
* T – Time: Note the exact time you witnessed the activity.
* E – Equipment: What gear do they have? Examples: weapons, handcuffs, dogs, vans, SUVs, door breakers, LRAD devices, etc. #losangelas @lavshate@lascafeteras@chuchumbe@mrmikedelarocha@xicasoul@niecey_cat@uniondelbarrio@taskforce.us

In response to these alarming numbers and the violation of human rights occurring in the raids, more than 10,000 whistles have been distributed to residents, local organizations and small businesses across L.A.County.

2025 was the year I explored my creativity and pushed the boundaries beyond my imagination! 🫰✨
From fighting my way through @scratchmagazine North America Star Nail Artist (NASNA)’s season one, to entering the top 25 of season two, I’ve exceeded my expectations as an artist. Reflecting back on my creations through this past year, I’m truly grateful for believing in myself, and for trusting the journey. God planted a seed of creativity into me, and it just took patience, persistence and practice to make it blossom into the beautiful craft I hold so dear to my heart. 🫶✨

INTRODUCING 2025's HATCH 100 - I am vibrating with anticipation for this HATCH 100 to convene at our 37th Summit in 21 years. This one is designed to meet this critical moment in our nation's history.
The United States is approaching the 250th anniversary of the signing the Declaration of Independence at a moment of deep fracture.
Trust in one another — and in our institutions — is at historic lows.
We are living inside a civic story that tells us we are enemies, that problems are unsolvable, and that the only tools we have are fear, outrage, and withdrawal.
Yet across the country, thousands of people and organizations are working toward a different future — one rooted in shared dignity, belonging, fairness, and flourishing. There is not a lack of effort or brilliance.
What we face is fragmentation and polarization.
We are building in isolation. We are rowing in parallel — not yet in harmony. This HATCH exists to change that.
We are here to reimagine democracy not as a battlefield, but as a shared home we are remodeling together.
We are here to weave together the cultural, strategic, narrative, and organizing power already alive across the country into a movement with shared momentum and shared identity - and justice - for ALL.
Leadership from organizations like PolicyLink, Braver Angels, Better Together America, Stand Together, The Federal Reserve Bank, apolitical, Better Politics Foundation, Marguerite Casey Foundation, Democracy Partners, Innovating for the Public Good, Bloom, American Public Trust, and others will be working to find lanes of collaboration.

I present to you…✨Artistic Protest✨ #NOKINGS
My main mission for my platform is to bring positivity to social media, which can sometimes be not so positive. I’ve stood behind my mission for as long as I could, but I can no longer sit and be complicit with the egregious and heinous actions being taken against the American people and those who come to this nation in search of a fresh start.
As a first generation American, I understand the struggles that immigrants face leaving their homelands seeking refuge in a new place in hopes of fulfilling their dreams and seeking a better life for themselves and their loved ones. I’m grateful my parents took the risk to move to America after the Vietnam war to build a future for themselves and our family. As a Vietnamese American, I’m proud stand with the immigrats, refugees, and citizens of our nation. Most importantly, I stand against our current facist leader and against ICE and the fear, hate and cruelty they’ve instilled in our communities nationwide.
This set is dedicated to the No Kings Protest, nationwide protest fighting against the fascism that is brewing within our nations capital. It is the voices of American’s that are losing more and more fundamental and everyday rights as the days go on.
