In response to these alarming numbers and the violation of human rights occurring in the raids, more than 10,000 whistles have been distributed to residents, local organizations and small businesses across L.A.County.

In Los Angeles County and everywhere, we must unite and stand in solidarity with and in defence of our brothers, sisters, and neighbors.
We don't have to accept this as the new normal. We are bigger and better than this. We have the power to stand up to hate, from people and institutions alike.
If you're in Los Angeles County and want to show your solidarity with your community, let us know... @lavshate has got you covered.

Honored to help support @nokingsprotest and @indivisibleteam point out the lunacy of Trump's birthday parade and to push back against the deluge of cruel and destructive actions of his administration.
Thank you 🇺🇸 for the shot in the arm of hope. Let's keep leaning on each other and building this momentum.
We invited dozens of amaze-ing bakers, balloon artists, and chefs to help the Fascist-in-Chief celebrate his birthday… the right way. 🎂🎈🤡

Last night, I was honored to join @taskforce.us Creative Jam event as a featured artist. It was such a joy to create alongside artists from all over the country who are leveraging their art to build a shared vision that “health is life.”
The content developed during the #creativejam showcases how artwork can collectively shape new narratives that advance the policies, practices, and values to help get to the ultimate goal—a society where everyone, regardless of their identity, has a fair and equal opportunity to be as healthy as possible.
Here is the art I created during the 3-hour live-streamed event. It features a parent, child, and friends gathering and delighting in DC’s native red mulberries and black rasberries - both in season this time of year! The text reads, “Abundance Is Already Here.”
My inspiration comes from a friend who recently hosted a “mulberry party,” where she brought folks together to forage and feast on the abundance our land naturally offers us. It dreams up a future where #healthislife and scarcity is a fading memory. May we all feel at peace in nature, access and enjoy fresh food, and feel rooted in community.

Do it? 😅🤷♀️
Got to #creativejam last night with @taskforce.us and some other talented artists on the theme of compassion in action. By the end of the night, I ended up with this concept that’s not not inspired by Soviet era posters, about how compassion breeds solidarity. Also maybe there’s a Jo Dee Messina reference.

hiya! long time no see✨
i’m happy to return with some of the work i’ve been doing, i will post those soon!! but first:
the word of the month is ✨Compassion✨
i am so grateful and happy to have participated in the Compassion in Action Creative Jam with @taskforce.us and @intoactionus hundred’s of artists came together with support and love and so much kindness. we discussed questions like: What does it look like when policy makers and leaders centre compassion in their decisions? and, how can art be a source for social change to inspire our leaders to put compassion into action?
a huge thank you to the fantastic guest speakers Kal Penn, Rodney Mackenzie Jr., Sarah Jones and Dr Monica Sharma for sharing their insightful wisdom with us.
and thank you so much to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for supporting this event with a grant.
— i have been in and out of a low period for a long time now. The weight of the world’s issues and my own personal issues have been pushing me down and have been trying to find my way back to making art because it is core to my being and i haven’t wanted to create like i used to.
i’m very proud of myself for being able to do this and i’m hoping i can continue to create more and more.—
