Nothing like a wholesome (and free!) art and craft workshop that brings people from all walks of life together to build the city of our dreams 😍✂️ thank you @taschtastic you're amazing! What's your world of choice?
Cute workshop throwback!
This time last year, I ran a family workshop inspired by Jacqueline Wilson’s Hetty Feather novel, creating mini personalised circus tents from paper! ✂️
This was part of the @foundlingmuseum Hetty Feather Day, which happens every year - Jacqueline Wilson comes and chats to families and sign their books & everyone loves it! Spoiler: she’s super nice xx
Family workshops! ✂️🌸🐣

Documenting through zine making ✂️
I had such a great time developing and facilitating this session for @movementatm and @ltmuseum 🚍🚲🚌🛴
Taking inspiration from a manifesto about the cost of travel in London written by a group of young people from @movementatm we created mini zines to visually represent thoughts and feelings around the impact of travel costs on young people and other issues around safety and access. The young people photocopied their zines at the end of the session and will be able to distribute them wherever they like to spread the word! 🗣️
Throwback to this lovely collage workshop I facilitated at the Foundling Museum, helping to bring to life the vision of students on Central Saint Martin’s BA in Culture, Criticism and Curation course 💫
Bits, Pieces & Belonging was a collaborative collage-making workshop inspired by the layered experiences of the children who lived at the Foundling Hospital and their formative years spent in the English countryside ☀️
Through guided prompts, participants were invited to use collage to imagine and understand these early experiences of care, working with recycled and natural materials alongside archival imagery from the Foundling Museum’s collection 🫶
Thanks @alisonjduke for bringing me in on this project ☺️
A love zine 💌 an example for next Sunday’s @cut.out.club zine making sesh! ✂️
It reads (in fragmented found poetry):
❤️
Do my best to remember
Nature, act of noticing
Immersion
Wild and beautiful silence
Small joy.
❤️
Kudos to Iona for this super cool format 😍
Experimenting with scraps & pattern ✂️
(@jess_heritage do you recognise anything here?! 😂)
Created in last night’s lovely collage workshop with @naaambiar & @marull.art 🫶
I’ll be running a workshop on how to make and decorate one of these for @assemblagecollective_ at @somethinggoodworkshops ✂️🥰
Did you know ❓
Puzzle Purses have been used since the 18th Century as a way of exchanging romantic messages, but were so popular in the Victorian period that they are often referred to as ‘Victorian Puzzle Purses’. To this day, Puzzle Purses still capture the imagination, providing endless ways in which to present tokens of love, private messages, or unexpected treats 🫶
