Helen Clifford made history in 1984 when she qualified as London Transport’s first woman bus mechanic at just 18 years old! 🧰 This weekend she joined us at the museum in person for a special event where her blue plaque was officially unveiled. This is part of the @womeninbusandcoach blue plaque initiative, which recognises and commemorates pioneering women in the bus, coach and community transport sector. Show her some love in the comments! 👇

Friday, 2pm the Museum fills with unexpected harmonies 🎶 Duo AccordiCello bring together cello and accordion in a rich, expressive sound that moves effortlessly between tradition and innovation. From lyrical classics to tango and contemporary colour, their music feels both intimate and adventurous. Formed at the @royalacademyofmusic in London, @goncalopiresmusic and @flavio_rodrigues00 have been captivating audiences across the UK and Portugal, and we’re delighted to welcome them as part of our 'Music in the Museum' series
