On September 7th, we welcome legendary @james_ruskin back to Dublin after his last visit back in 2017. A long anticipated return! With a musical history that can be traced back to mid-80s electro and hip-hop, Ruskin brings a long background and deep knowledge of underground electronic music to his productions and DJing. James Ruskin has become a cornerstone of UK techno, emerged in the mid-‘90s as the style was in the midst of a famously fertile period, thanks to trailblazing releases from labels such as Downwards, Peacefrog and Soma Quality Recordings. Ruskin arrived with his own label, Blueprint, in 1996. and has been a standard in techno ever since. Oliver Ho, Regis, Truncate, The Advent and Ruskin himself are just a few names that have released on the record label throughout the years. Altinbas is highly regarded as one of Techno’s most consistent producers over the last several years. @altinbas.t is challenging the limits of modern techno, as both a resident & label curator of the infamous Belgium club Fuse situated in Brussels. To really shape this line up we have studied the rise of Dublin based dj @trulymoore_ who is a stand out dj that has accumulated an immense reputation around Ireland and Berlin. YoursTruly focuses on deep rhythms and rolling bass, which we believe is the perfect match for this event.
