Today marks a year since I released any original music. I used the year to figure our directions I wanted to go & to experience spaces which inspired my next works. ‘Ofk 002’. A collection of music which is the most up to date reflection of my sound. A non conceptual work of techno. No fillers, straight up functionality built solely for the club. While there are many amazing collections of music being released, compared to era’s which seen the release of DJ Shufflemasters ‘EXP’ or Robert Hoods ‘Internal Empire’. I dont see as many larger works of music like that so often. Growing up & discovering techno, I always gravitated to such collections of music, so here’s my take. 20 Tracks, techno, hypnotic, bleepy & driven sounds with a splash of electro & ambience. Main Cover Art: Captures a moment in time, by no means is it perfect, & for that reason I think it suits the vison of this release. Not caught up in perfection, but just happy to let it out & share it with you Vinyl centres: A collection of blurry snaps capturing dim lit corners, smokey outlines & nuances from places such as Bossa Nova & Jupiter Disco NYC, to Essen, Germany. Places where much of the inspiration was found over the last year. Digital & Limited edition vinyl out as of today. 4x12” 180gr Vinyl pack. Its been a while since ive made a post about anything. Sometimes priorities become part of taking somewhat of a break. But today, i want to appreciate my family. Last week my Mom, Auntie, and to my extreme suprise my Granny all visited me for the first time since I moved to Berlin. @jeanrooney78 /// @ruthrandralph // & Dolores who does not use instagram 🤣 What a stunning few days, meeting freinds they have only ever heard me talk about for years. Seeing & even experience places 🏢 i would have never thought. Special shout out to my mum - she has heard more kicksdrums & the extended play of me failing time over and over again with my music. Around 10-12 years of djing and producing in her home without any problems. Nothing but support acctually. She was worried about me moving away here (i wouldnt blame her). But coming here, meeting my freinds, seeing everything about the place and who i choose to be with, i think thats changed a little. I have added a pic for measure - last slide when my mom and two of my aunties came to see me play life festival for the first time. A huge milestone at the time. Here we are 7 or 8 years later. To all of my freinds who made the few days extra special, you rock. I love you all, you made my time here so far so much more than just manageable.

The year end in no particular order 💕 Niceone to @rawtechno.trp for the invite. Super solid night of techno in Wigwam basement. Was nice to be given the chance to close out proceeedings at home 🇮🇪 already excited to be back. To the NYC crew 🇺🇸 I wont be forgetting that any time soon. Introducing @offtrack.csr for the 23/12 in Wigwam/Basement. Offtrack, 26 years of age aims to showcase his vision of techno. He is an aspiring DJ/Producer, and regular on lineups across Ireland & Berlin. As a producer, Offtrack’s material can be heard on Ceili Collective, Yin Yang Label, Research Label, Analogue Network, Undivided , Twn Cnfg Rcrds , AKTIVV & Circuit Sturcture Records. Expect hypnotic grooves, raw uncomprimising techno loops often with reference to the sounds of the 90s. 2023 seen his focus shift to his new label - Circuit Structure Records. Founded in Late 2022 which soon after delivered a very strong launch. The label has grown quickly showcasing the sound regularly in Berlin & almost every Irish city. We cannot wait. A set that stood out in the madness last weekend from @offtrack.csr . Traversing techno in all its finest forms, showing pure quality start to finish. Blending vinyl, and digital seamlessly and doing so even with an earlier obtained injury on the hand, was truly something else!
