Exciting update on our workshop!
As most of you know, on October 11th we are hosting our Cinematic Photography & Lighting Workshop based at the spectacular Basford Photography & Filming Location, along with 2 amazingly talented, and well established models (Its.chloehill & Piezorplays).
In addition we are proud to announce the exciting news that we will now be collaborating with Essential Photo & Video, Godox and Pixapro for this workshop.
At this full day 8 hour workshop session, you’ll have the chance to learn tips and techniques from 3 experienced mentors (myself ‘Iphotouk’, Tom ‘Switch_8.9’, and Shalimar ‘Shalimarsstuff’), with a wide range of experience in the field of cinematic style photography & lighting, both in the cosplay community & beyond.
We’ll provide both theory & practical mentoring for up to a maximum of 10 photographers, where you will get the chance to not only learn about what makes a cinematic image, and how to create it, but also have ample opportunity to get hands on throughout the day to create your own cinematic masterpieces with both models around the venue, all under the watchful guidance of our experienced mentors.
We’ll also have a selection of lighting on set from Godox/Pixapro provided by our event partner for this event (Essential Photo & Video) to show you how to get the best possible lighting setups to make your shots truly cinematic, as well as having some products for you to get hands on with yourself throughout the day. However, please feel free to bring your own lighting equipment if you prefer.
In addition, we’ll also provide food and drink throughout the day. So the only thing you will really need to bring is yourself and your camera.
And all of this for just £225 per person. To secure your space all we require is a £100 deposit, with the remaining balance to be paid no later than 14 days before the event (all deposits are non refundable).

The heavy armour, the scarred look, and the cold blue lighting all helped push this frame into that brutal, frontline feel Marcus is known for.

Winner shoots must be booked by 31/12/26 and completed by 30/06/27.
Duos are allowed, but the 10 edited images are shared between both people and must be confirmed at booking.
Extra edited images can be purchased at £5 per image.
Travel, parking, outfits, props, hair, makeup, food and accommodation are not included.
Bookings are subject to photographer and studio availability.
Prize has no cash alternative and cannot be transferred.
