Grammy-nominated duo @Boreta & @davisville reworked their spiritual ambient discography, layering new improvisations with the timeless philosophical teachings of Alan Watts. Words about death and consciousness threaded through ethereal soundscapes—creating a sonic balm for those in the process of transmuting grief.

We’re very excited to be performing on September 21st at @the_cortege - a unique experience that blends awesome choreography, mythic costumes, large-scale puppetry, robotics, and drones (!) into a cinematic, wordless procession.
Our set will take place in the Beyond chapter of the show - a reintegration space where we’ll weave our music in with recordings of Alan Watts to make people remember that even in our deepest sorrow, we are never alone.

happy 5-year anniversary to “Listen, Dream”
i put together a carousel of outtakes, unused art, and photos from when i was working on this project—some of it even created on a tour bus back in 2019. one special detail: we scanned alan watts’ handwriting, and @dean.grenier turned it into a custom font that became central to the release, the vinyl, and more.
this piece was a labor of love, something i made simply because i wanted it to exist. to spend time connecting with watts’ work and the texts that he references.
grateful for the timeless wisdom of alan watts, and to his son, mark, for sharing so many incredible recordings—some captured when he was just a child.
here’s to the journey, the teachings, and the connection through sound.
