I’m both happy and a little nervous to share this song with the world. I wrote it last summer during a time when I felt powerless — when my boundaries weren’t respected and my art wasn’t valued. It showed me how easily integrity can be twisted in this industry. After pulling myself out of a dark place, returning to therapy, and cutting ties with anyone or anything that isn’t for my highest good, I finally feel free. The beautiful thing about music is that it lets you turn pain into art. I’m grateful for this gift — to transform deep experiences into something healing and empowering. It’s been five years since I decided to pursue music professionally, and I’ve learned that understanding human behaviour is just as important as creating art. This industry isn’t for the faint-hearted. This single marks the start of my next chapter. My second project arriving next year, is a concept EP reflecting on the last five years — the sharks, the lessons, and the resilience it took to keep going even in days where getting out of my bed for the day was the biggest accomplishment. I’m aware that speaking this openly isn’t always encouraged in show business but I’ve never been interested in playing small to protect systems that thrive on silence. I stand up for myself. I use my voice. And I won’t dilute my truth to make others comfortable. I’m more than my art. More than my music. I’m a human being first. It’s 2026, and I believe the era of quiet complicity is fading. The industry is shifting, and transparency is inevitable. Masks fall. Patterns reveal themselves. And integrity always outlives manipulation.
