Born in London, Jordan combines rich, soulful vocals with influences spanning jazz, RnB and pop. Inspired by legends including Dusty Springfield, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, The Supremes and The Ronettes, alongside modern icons Amy Winehouse and Duffy. RaRa brings powerhouse vocals, timeless soul and irresistible 60s glamour to the stage. Fresh from the release of her acclaimed 2025 album, appearances on BBC One and BBC Radio London, and a show-stopping performance at the BBC Show Business Awards alongside Beverley Knight, Gary Barlow and Katherine Jenkins, RaRa is quickly becoming one of the UK’s most exciting live performers. In these songs, Alex stumbles in and out of Love and through influences that range from George Gershwin to Hank Williams to Dr John and beyond. The words are heartfelt, tinged with humour, poignancy, and at times outright zaniness. Paperface: The Songwriter | 21st May @ 6:30pm After last year’s sell-out show at Crazy Coqs, singer songwriter and BBC6 Music favourite Paperface, returns with an evening of beautiful and darkly funny songs, tinged with irony and rich in observation. Paperface, is known for lyrics that amuse and inspire in equal measure: a career spent writing songs and composing scores for film and television have informed his wide ranging pallet, but it is the classic approach to the storytelling of the 60’s and 70’s that perhaps best underscores his thoughts. He is a romantic trapped in a swirl of adulthood, and his words cuts through like the beam of light that used to emanate from the converted lighthouse where he now records – weather permitting, of course…
