It all started on Summit Avenue in Hagerstown, Maryland—where founder Zach spent his days off tinkering with a small air roaster in his kitchen, constantly setting off the smoke alarm. What began as a curious experiment quickly turned into something more, as friends and family kept coming back for “just one more cup.”
Today, Summit Roasters stays true to that easygoing spirit. Every small-batch roast is a nod to those early kitchen sessions: laid-back, personal, and full of the same joy that kicked off our journey on Summit Avenue.

These days always remind me how cool it is that we get to roast for you all. Took a chance about a year ago and bought a small roaster. Just thinking that if nobody bought any coffee, I would just have a coffee roaster for the rest of my life. Fast forward a year and things are brewing!!! Thankful for all the support from everyone over the past year!
