A Magyar Könyvtervezés díj fontos kezdeményezés. Minden hasonlóan szárba szökkenő pályázat egy szakma életjele. A nyertes könyvekből rendezett kiállítást még a héten meg lehet nézni a Fugában – ingyenesen. Idén én is tagja voltam a zsűrinek, úgyhogy kíváncsian várom a közönség fogadtatását. Polgárdi Ákos és Rubik Ági (SUBMACHINE) valami olyat hoztak létre, ami egyszerre profi és fenntartható: > évente megújuló kiállítás a Fugában > katalógus-alapú támogatási rendszer > fantáziadús díjtárgy > valódi diskurzus a tipográfiáról Vajon be kell-e tartani a klasszikus tipográfiai és nyomdaipari elvek közül legalább valamennyit, vagy avantgárd módra teljes szakításra van szükség? Ha ez az elismerés egy nagy kiadók, nagy példányszámú könyveit is magában foglaló díjként határozza meg magát az évek során – ami szerintem jó lenne –, akkor valószínűleg a hagyomány is fontos lesz. Ugyanakkor a megújulásra is nagy szüksége van minden ökoszisztémának. Mint magában a tipográfiában, valószínűleg itt is minden az arányokról szól majd, amit valahogy jól el kell találni. Személyes kedvencem a díjtárgyak körüli műgond. Szuper az ötlet, hogy minden évben más alkotó készít egy téglatestet, ami pontosan akkora, mint a nyertes könyv. > Idén: Víg Aliz (papírporcelán) > Tavaly: Koralevics Rita, Paper Up! (impregnált papírcement) > 2024-ben: Kristóf Gábor és Pásztor Ivett, RAL5050 Stúdió (hajlított és szinterezett acéllemez) > 2023-ban: Nagy Péter és Juhász Norbert, Komok Furniture (tömbösített diófa). Ez a fajta állandóság és változatosság az, amire a hazai könyvdizájn-ökoszisztémának szüksége van. Gyertek el, és vegyétek kezetekbe a könyveket! Former home of Péter Esterházy, memorial room 📷 @brblzs Our intention was to create a contemplative space at the site where a significant part of the oeuvre was written, framing the meaning of the place within an architectural and spatial context worthy of reflection, reading, and remembrance. The only large uninterrupted wall surface presents the database of the library of some 10,000 volumes that once filled the rooms of the house—a grid of authors and book titles.
