The Long Red Road, the debut novel by Andrea Atzori @_andreaatzori , will be unveiled through an intimate cultural salon exploring the intersection of literature, cinema, memory and contemporary African narratives. Inspired by decades of humanitarian experience with Doctors with Africa CUAMM @cuammdoctorswithafrica , Andrea’s work moves beyond fiction, opening a profound reflection on identity, resilience, displacement and human connection. Presented in collaboration with Dr. Annalisa Tarquini of the International University of Monaco- IUM @university_of_monaco with curatorial direction of @_valentinacangiano the event brings together culture, education and international dialogue within one immersive and cinematic experience. Art for Impact, a meaningful collaboration with the incredible @derrick_o_boateng , where we came together to raise money for the emergency services in Beira. Mozambique is among the countries with the highest maternal and neonatal mortality, often due to complications during pregnancy and delays in emergency care. In Beira, @mediciconlafricacuamm helped rebuild and strengthen the health system, including the establishment of an urban ambulance service to ensure people in need are not left alone in emergencies. Thanks to this service, hundreds of mothers with complications in pregnancy or childbirth, newborns and sick children, are being looked after! For over a decade, I’ve worked inside heritage brands, not around them, not “for content,” but within their DNA. Brands like Riva don’t become icons because of marketing trends. They become legends because of people, memory, craft and trust passed hand to hand, generation to generation. I’ve been behind the scenes: from global events and international activations to ateliers, family stories, client moments, trophies, media and talent activations,stars- studded gala and rituals from Cannes Film Festival to the Riva Raduni energy, to intimate, quiet exchanges that never make headlines. What I learned is simple and radical today: Luxury is not performance. Luxury is presence. It’s not the logo. It’s the human connection behind it. You don’t “apply” heritage. You earn it..through consistency, respect, restraint and emotional intelligence. Client experience is everything. Not scripted. Not automated. Not replaceable. AI can optimise systems. But it cannot replace intuition, taste, empathy, memory, or trust. It cannot read a room. It cannot feel when to speak or when silence matters more. In a world obsessed with speed and scale, true luxury moves differently. Slower. Deeper. Human. If heritage brands like Riva still stand as global symbols, it’s because they never forgot one thing: Luxury lives in people not platforms.
