So my dearest Lilybelle got married this past weekend. As her hairstylist and therapist (iykyk) of 10 years, I feel as though we have been through so much together. Before my eyes she’s gone from law school to LAWYER and before hers, I’ve gone from salon assistant to salon floor to freelance artist. She’s been a loyal client and friend through it all and words fail to capture the bond that’s created. After years of styling her hair for her friends’ weddings and for nights out and events and, first dates, neither of us could have known when I was styling her hair for the last first date she’d ever have. And now it was time to style her for her very own wedding day. Those final moments before a bride walks down the aisle are so precious. I could feel the joy and nervousness and deep reflection my bride was experiencing with just a look at her face and with that, my tears were nearly uncontrollable! @lilybelled you are more than deserving of eternal love and happiness. I’m beyond grateful for the privilege of being there for you and your bridal party on your special day. Here’s to more years and more looks! 🥂 I love you
