• Advent Box - Hygge •
Hello dear friends!
I know, I said there won't be an Advent Box this year 🙈 but hey, some of you asked and I just love making them! So I found a solution by offering a beautiful box, with all the goodies that you are used to from me, but with 12 naturally dyed yarn minis instead of 24.
This way, it is managable for my poor halfbroken head 😅
This year, I will be using my BFL/Shetland/Alpaca (fingering weight) as the yarn for my Advent Box. It has 350m per 100gr and is a beautiful versatile base for all kinds of projects.
With the box, you can choose between two bag options: a medium sized project bag, or a large zipper pouch.
Of course, there will be goodies included too, fitting with the theme.
The theme for this year is "Hygge", a Danish concept about everyday coziness and slowing down. Finding comfort in simple things and spending time with the ones you love. What more can I wish for you, and not only for December. But at least, with my Advent Box, I can try to offer you a little of my own "Hygge" ❤️

Today I took my project bag (and my family 😜) to the seaside to soak up some sun.
The last few weeks have been really choatic, so I thought it would be good for us to have a day out.
The kids really enjoyed looking for all kinds of seashells while I knitted away at my Tistel sweater (a design by @wynja )

My dearest @a.knitting.tale and me are knitting another project together ❤️
This time, it is the wonderful Tistel sweater, a design by @wynja , which can be found in her (together with @lottahlothgren ) newly released book
I am using my Mountain Wool for the main colour, undyed Organic Sock for CC1 and a beautiful blue/green BFL/Shetland/Alpaca for CC2
So far, it is a really enjoyable knit! I can't wait to see our sweaters grow, and maybe plan for the next project from this beautiful book 🥰

• Kvit Socks •
Teti Lutsak @tetisknitgarden , a brilliant knitwear designer from Ukraine (based in the Netherlands), designed the beautiful Kvit Sweater. She approached me for my sock yarn 'Sokka', as she likes to make matching socks with her sweaters.
I'm stunned with what she came up with! The pattern is so delicate, like the flowers it is named after. The colourwork part is so much fun, with wrapped stitches for added texture. The Kvit Socka are a wearable piece of art!

• Spring Collection •
Next week Friday, the 3rd of April, my Spring Collection will launch at 8PM CEST!
There will be:
- naturally dyed Linen yarn
- Indigo-dyed clay resist linen (project) bags, handmade by me
- limited edition, glass bead Spring-inspired stitch marker sets
In the coming days I will share pictures of all the different bags 🥰 I'm so proud of them, I think they are gorgeous!

I know, I know, it's almost time for summer knits.. But I can't help myself 😅
The Birki pattern by Jóhanna Hjaltadóttir is just so beautiful and has been on my "to knit"- list for a while. It will for sure be a nice layer for spring/summer evening walks.
The rusty shade is exactly why I started natural dyeing. It's perfect and seems to be alive!
It will make for a very nice contrast with the dark brown as the main color, and the light gray for the "feathers".
There are a few of the rust skeins available in my shop if you are also craving rusty shades 😊

Spring is in the air, finally!
And this year, it feels like a start of a new me as well. After my brain hemorrhage last November, I've been struggling with myself. But with all your support and wonderful conversations, I feel I am getting most of my strength back ❤️

This year, I am not offering an Advent Calendar. It is too much for me right now.
Instead, there will be a new SEASONAL BOX every three months.

"Patchwork Star" project bags ❤️
Aren't they beautiful?? 🥰
Completely handmade from natural materials, these linen bags are waiting to carry your next project!
The exterior and interior fabric is linen, with the patchwork star naturally dyed by me ✨️ the bags also have a cozy cotton interfacing, giving the bags some body and protecting whatever you carry in them.
Each bag has two pockets on the inside, as well as a cotton loop to attach your stitch markers to.
I have made 3 different sizes, and there is not one the same. I wish I could keep them all, to be honest 😅
