While you admire all the delicious details of this design, let me thank those who took the time to test knit this rather experimental creation. I admire your courage and I am very grateful for your trust. Thank you dear testers! I invite you all to check their projects on Ravelry for inspiration and I will do my best to share those that are on IG in stories in the coming days.
Let me also thank those, who took the time to like and comment on my recent posts, - I find navigating through the changes in algorithms exhausting. Knowing that you see and appreciate my works gives me extra air to breath ♥️
Let me also thank those, who already bought a copy of the pattern - this or any other - you put bread on my table, but most importantly you keep the creative engine running. None of the magic I experience creating patterns and joy knitters get while knitting and wearing my designs would be possible without your support!
Thank you all so very much 🙏

Working on a second sample in #nutidenyarn from @honerocheir held together with a strand of silk-mohair from @knittingforolive . This yarn combo is heavier, so the look will be different - cheers to experimenting with gauge!

Lately I’ve been enjoying taking progress photos. Knitting is slow and sometimes you don’t see any progress 😂 so taking photos helps me keep track of day’s progress - like keeping a record of small steps before the finish line 🤩
#wusaivest was one of those that just wouldn’t come easy to me. It took its time and fair share of frustration. Until it clicked. I enjoyed the rhythm of this design very much - split into sections, it makes for a lovely day by day progress. Tedious sometimes. But very rewarding. That’s why I cast on another one 🤩

In the last few weeks we’ve been almost secretly testing #wusaivest. My short break from IG turned into a long one and with that I shifted my focus to Patreon. There’s much more going on there and behind the scenes.
Yet I am also very grateful to have this platform to be able to share my work with a wider audience! You are amazing and seeing all the beauty you create inspires me ✨
The secret must be in finding a balance ☺️

My new personal favorite socks — Wusai socks — are out now! A mix of delicate textures and chunkiness, which combines the best of the two. I love how you can have the pattern without compromising on sock durability. And I need my socks to be strong 😂
Tested the pattern with the original fingering weight Sokka yarn @studiosolasndd as well as with 4 ply Exmoor sock @jarbontextiles 🤩 Yes, slightly thinner yarn requires swatching to get the size right, but the recipe works!
In short: ankle length socks, knit top-down with short row heel and sections, that are worked with a single strand of fingering weight yarn and two strands held together.
Pattern available on Ravelry and tetilutsak.com
Get 15% off with the code WUSAI till midnight Sunday, April 12th, Amsterdam time. The code also works for a sister design — the Wusai hat! And a matching vest is coming soon!
#wusaisocks
Happy Easter if you celebrate today or at all! In any case, I wish us all a bit more light and happiness and peace of course. That should always come first 💔
