Based on the typeface Carilliantine by Rian Hughes (@device_fonts ), the letter was modelled in three dimensions using lime mortar.
The original was moulded in clay, cast in stucco , then sanded, refined and finished by hand.
A letter as a physical form, often used for outdoor advertisement on facades in the Wilhelminian period.
