This week, I was reminded that God renews and redeems through art, inviting me to listen closely and respond.

I paint Divine Maps—moments where heaven reveals itself to us, and how we learn to dwell within it.

Finally catching up on life 🪼
-
It’s almost halfway through May and I’m about halfway done with the 5th piece of my current collection, which will have a total of 8 paintings upon completion.
In marathon terms this is mile 18ish of 26.2 and this is when it becomes more of a mental than physical challenge.
Here’s all the happy places I’ve been along the way in parallel that have inspired me recently 🩵
#releaseday2026 @creativemorning
I recently submitted this piece to a figurative art exhibition and wasn’t selected—
but I’m grateful for the prompt that helped clarify my approach.
Painting continues to be a way I exercise my faith, especially in learning how to detach my own worth to the external outcomes of my art career, and knowing that I am already worthy.

I’ve always been drawn to the moment inside the miracle, when faith is all I have, before the outcome is fully visible.
Into Marvelous Light is inspired by the parting of the Red Sea, painted from the vantage point of standing within it.

The original painting is now available—

First finished painting of the new year 🐎
Inspired by the parting of the Red Sea in the book of Exodus in the Bible and moments of my cherished life. While creating this piece I was reminded to allow God to create a path that I may not currently see as possible.

The story of Jesus calming the storm shaped the language of my work. <3
In Scripture, the disciples move from fear to awe, encountering a power greater than the waves.
In my own life, divine presence has met me the same way, not removing the raging storm instantly, but revealing redemptive power within it.

No. 3 Piece “Inside Out” (2025)
36”x48” oil on linen canvas

Took me a few days extra to finish processing this past month, and this past year.
For my final painting of 2025, I painted the following lyrics that I would sing in my mind whenever I needed comfort:
A thousand times I’ve failed
Still Your mercy remains
Should I stumble again
Still, I’m caught in Your grace
Everlasting
Your light will shine when all else fades ✨
