A long-standing friendship and creative collaboration between @simonefanciullacci and the carpentry atelier @studio_effe has led to the creation of a monumental sofa and a pair of coffee tables - a preview of the upcoming collection, set to be unveiled soon.
Inspired by the planks stacked at Studio F’s workshop and the traditional techniques used to join them, Simone designed these pieces with a contemporary approach.
Each piece tells the story of Studio F’s dedication to craftsmanship and sustainability, with wood sourced from trees fallen due to natural events or necessary felling.

With forms inspired by WWI naval camouflage, the Pieces collection touches on the DNA of Studio F and highlights a bold contrast between contemporary and traditional. Using a combination of mineral patina finish and liquid silver, the collection carries themes of art, disruption and experimentation. SAGRA by Simone Fanciullacci x Studio F
When we were invited to participate in the new Trattoria Altra Vista project, by the Anotherview team, we immediately had the feeling that something new was boiling in the pot! So, after a brief together with Tati and Marco, we immediately thought of a design studio that could share our corporate values and was perfect for a collectible design project within a Trattoria. Sagra was born from the pencil of Simone Fanciullacci and wants to represent the belief in the world of collectible design: the interiors of old trattorias were often the result of a slow accumulation of pieces and objects which, over time, found themselves in dialogue. A spontaneous accumulation of languages and forms that told a story but was also the result of a principle of ecology, a principle of common sense in which an object before being replaced was fixed and sometimes simply became a foundation or support for others. The sideboard was born from this idea of layering, an apparently spontaneous form that seems to be the result of the simple act of accumulating planks and crates, but these forms and volumes in dialogue with each other create a composition, a dialogue of solids and voids of space and material that gives life to a piece of furniture that is a container but also a display unit, with closed parts and open niches that come into being almost spontaneously.

Studio F is an atelier founded in 2017 in Turin by Federico Boschiazzi and Francesco Lucchetti, self-taught artisan designers united by their passion for design, Italian savoir-faire and sustainability. Since 2021, Francesco Miyakawa have joined the team. The Turin-based atelier expresses its ethos in recovering centuries-old plants by embracing sustainability and innovation through timeless aesthetics. “We look for centenary plants because they are rare and precious, they grow slowly and always have a story to tell, through our designs we tell their story”. What gives shape to unique furniture to be collected and handed down is solid wood and its recovery, always working on the juxtaposition of opposite elements: the raw material with the exclusive finish, the aesthetics of nature with the intervention of man.
