A historic mansion just off Chicago’s Magnificent Mile has been given new life as
@thehandandtheeye , an immersive destination and members club devoted to magic and illusion. Designed by
@rockwellgroup , the reimagined McCormick Mansion draws on the building’s colorful past—from its days as a 1930s casino to the famed Kungsholm puppet theater and, later, Lawry’s restaurant. Chicago native David Rockwell used that history as inspiration, creating a space that blends grandeur, mystery, and theatrical charm.
