Our favorites: Equalizers

@amsneveltd 1073 classic modules in a
@heritage_audio_ Rack 2. Known as THE preamp to any pop vocal chain ever, but being able to feed the line input and use the eq when mixing is vital for my workflow.
One of the first outboard pieces i owned and i’d advise anyone looking for outboard who are into recording to go for these because of the dual use case in both rec and mix.

@miadaudio LCPQ 4040. The most versatile eq i own. Smoother than the 1073’s and a lot more frequencies to choose from. Where the neves can get a little too bitey, these stay rounder to my ears.

@cranborneaudio Carnaby HE2. A very different design from any other EQ i own as it is a Harmonic EQ. As you know, i like harmonics and saturation, so this thing is right up my alley. And i haven’t even mentioned all its features like mid side processing, inserts and PLUGIN CONTROL!
4. I grew up on an SSL 4000E (careerwise that is, the actual growing up i did in my parents home) so i couldn’t imagine my life without at least a bucket of SSL channels with black knob EQs. Part of the Mini SSL made by the amazing
