For Salone del Mobile 2026, we collaborated with @rangerover on Traces, a three-part, multi-sensory installation exploring the artistry and depth of its bespoke offering.
Set within Milan’s Galliera Meravigli, visitors moved through a sequence of immersive environments exploring personalisation through space, sound, material, and scent — unfolding as a journey through memory, craftsmanship, and infinite possibility.
The experience began within a calm antechamber, where a bespoke soundscape softened the noise of the Milanese streets. In Chapter One, an octagonal mirrored room explored colour and memory through a four-screen film, inspired by Filipe Sanguinetti's memories of Argentina. An overhead lightbox shifted in synchrony with the film and soundscape, immersing the space in evolving reflections and hues.
Chapter Two introduced a more intimate environment inspired by the refinement of a vehicle interior. Fabric-clad walls, plush carpeting, and champagne-gold mirrored columns framed embroidered works inspired by Milan’s four seasons, inviting contemplation and close inspection.
The final chapter revealed the Pearl of Tay vehicle within an environment inspired by Scotland’s River Tay. Plush carpet gave way to black gravel underfoot, while undulating fins caught diffused light that rippled through the room like water. Flanking vitrines displayed objects embedded within a sculpted gravel landscape inspired by the river’s textures and tones.

Continuing our collaboration with Belmond, we conceived the design for Casa Higienópolis, a seven-day residency in São Paulo created in partnership with Iguatemi. Set within a neoclassical mansion, the residency introduces guests to Belmond’s world through a sequence of immersive live experiences inspired by its iconic properties, rooted in a shared sense of place, culture, and slow luxury.
Guests enter through a bespoke carpet installation and are guided by a concierge through a series of rooms, each reflecting a different Belmond destination.
The Bellini Listening Bar evokes Hotel Cipriani in Venice through cocktails, vinyl, and live mixology, while Thebe Magugu’s creative world reflects the identity of Mount Nelson in Cape Town. Elsewhere, Pía León brings the spirit of Palacio Nazarenas in Cusco through cooking classes and exhibition, complemented by wellness rituals from Maroma in Mexico’s Riviera Maya centred on meditation and sensory immersion. The Belmond Bookstore completes the journey, presenting the brand’s editorial and cultural collaborations within an immersive library setting.
Throughout the mansion, Belmond’s design language is expressed through dark timber, polished silver, rich colour, and layered pattern, while remaining sensitive to the historic character of Casa Higienópolis.

Inspired by the spirit of giving, the Georg Jensen festive windows draw on traditional napkin folds – forms that reference gathering and celebration. Playful structures showcase a curated selection of jewellery and silverware, presented within minimal custom displays that highlight each piece in a new light. The folds become large-scale sculptural frames, turning familiar rituals into striking sculptures. A palette of cream and red brings warmth and elegance, evoking the glow of the giving season and catching the eye of passers-by.

For Belmond’s debut at Paris Photo, we transformed a section of the Grand Palais into a refined threshold to the brand’s destination-focused publishing. Inspired by the elegance of a contemporary hotel lobby, a monolithic lacquered desk anchors the space, while illuminated timber shelving recalling concierge cubbies reveals vibrant grids of photo books from across Belmond’s global locations. Select titles are presented on silver trays, a playful gesture of hospitality. Soft architectural moves such as arched niches and delicate pastel linework tracing the perimeter are complemented by timber seating and pedestal that invite visitors to pause and browse. A custom striped floor, influenced by classic Italian hotel lobbies, amplifies the vivid graphic language of the publications and introduces an understated sense of arrival.
