In a wonderful and bizzare turn of events, @bard.scotland were tasked with curating a selection of Scottish craft at the Milan Design week for @rangerover
The booth devised by spatial designers @storey.studio housed 14 objects of wonder from Scottish based artists/crafts people, including myself.
I was delighted to show my cast glass work from the series 'Haptic Light' at this year's Milan Design week.
Huge congratulations and Thanks to Hugo and James of Bard for all the outstanding work they do championing Scottish craft.

Teaser : A first glimpse of Wade House.
I had the pleasure of working with Fahad of @studiowadhal on his new building Wade House.
The schematic of a curved bay window repeats throughout the design, becoming a motif centre to the architecture.
For this window ruby red Water glass is combined with a textured clear glass, toughened laminate and double glazed. To bring the irreplaceable beauty of glass to a contemporary aesthetic and technical specification.

RIBA National Award Winner 2025
Amazingly Costas Barbers was selected by @riba for national recognition.
My windows occupied the newly designed facade of the building. Which the judges commented "the shop front facade is particularly ingenious. With remade sash windows able to be configured for varying levels of openness and privacy though making the most out of some innovative techniques of patterned glass-making"

Nice to see the evolution of the studio process, these images are a little time capsule into the past workings.

Some of the process invovled in making 40 stained glass windows for @parti.studio and their exciting new project in Norfolk, launching later this year.
This design merges the aesthetic of traditional diamond (quarry) glazed window and a contemporary geometric abstraction. Taking a well known format and pushing it into a new territory. Textured mouth-blown and cathedral glass is combined with machine made stock to create shimmering transitions of pattern.
Bonded Antique, and mouth blown glass sealed in argon filled double glazed units. Gorgeous new sash dormers freshly glazed made by Rudd Joinery, being installed on site this week.
