MO Variety is a bold, grassroots circus showcase led by the wildly talented Laura Lippert — a performer known for her gravity-defying aerial work (yes, including full routines performed from her hair 👀), and appearances everywhere from Jimmy Kimmel to Circus Flora and City Museum.
Actor, dancer, acrobat, teacher, and performance artist, Laura’s work has been called “a spectacle so mesmerizing, it leaves the audience in awe.” And this is your chance to meet the creative force behind St. Louis’ newest variety show — before the curtain rises.

The Museum’s signature exhibit, Collected, has welcomed a powerful new rotating gallery: Made in St. Louis — a celebration of the creations, innovations, and people that started here and traveled far beyond our city.
We’re honored that a video installation featuring The Spotlight Series by STL.org is part of this gallery, highlighting St. Louis makers and culture-shapers through story and film, produced in collaboration with Once Films.
From monster trucks and ice cream cones to space capsules and gooey butter cake — this gallery reminds us that St. Louis has been shaping the world for more than 260 years.
Special thanks to Jody Sowell, President & CEO of the Missouri Historical Society, for the inspiring introduction and for his visionary leadership of the I Am St. Louis campaign — a powerful reminder that our people, our stories, and our creativity are at the heart of this region.

What a whirlwind — the very best kind.
We spent last weekend touting and sharing stories for our new documentary The Trail State with our friends at @stl_org and @magnificentmissouri … and yes, even Sasquatch stopped by to say hello. 👣🎥
Mid-week, we celebrated 15 years of Once Films and Chris Ryan’s birthday (a double feature we’ll never forget). 🎉🎂 Thanks for having us @workandleisurestl !
The week rolled on with team meetings around some exciting new internal projects — stay tuned 👀 — plus more powerful storytelling with @providentstlorg .
And we wrapped it all up at Bright & Early with Jonathan Hanahan, diving deep into design + tech solutions that spark better ideas and better futures. 💡
Thanksgiving might be the only breather we get for a minute… it’s time to lock in. 🔥

My Art & Design sides joined forces this week for the benefit of creativity.
