Today, the fantastic German company of Mrs. Doubtfire plays their final performance. @doubtfirede I can’t overstate my gratitude for every collaborator and cast member on this production. The kindness, patience, and positivity I experienced, especially as we navigated a new translation being worked out in real time, was extraordinary. I miss you all. And I’m so proud of you. A huge shoutout to Resident Director @me_michelleescano Dance Captain @calum_samuel_flynn , Kids Captain @juliawaldmayer and ADC @lisawissert for being absolute heroes over this show’s run. What I wouldn’t give to go back into a rehearsal room and do it all again with @thomashohler @dustin.smailes @jesskess80 @nicolastenerani @bymiq @tamarawoerner @alina.jutchin @christianfunkcommunity and the rest of this special group. A very happy (and very belated) opening to the 2nd National Tour of Mrs. Doubtfire! Launching this tour has been an incredibly meaningful and JOYFUL experience and it’s all because of the exceptional people involved. “Grateful” doesn’t even begin to cover what it means to have the unmatchable @mattwkunkel from Work Light Productions leading the charge, alongside such collaborative, in sync and anchoring co-captains as @michaeljonslinger , @matthewsmedal , and @julzkavs as we navigated this new journey. To be back in the trenches with people you love like @jordyn.david , @hunterstorie , @kirklights , @victoria_tinsman , @rodlemmond , @dylanablussick , Jackson…and to welcome @chadmurnane and @amberjsnead … Coglan, Keith, @evanrdesign , @wheelermoon , @ecb2025 , @sammystrent , @ouellettedesign , Rosella and @mason.fick1 into the family…has been a true gift. A huge shout-out to our brilliant PSM @annaklevit , with the amazing @kfxgentry by her side, who take care of this company with such extraordinary love and care. And then there’s our company, led by the awesomely brilliant @csmith4920 . They’ve poured their hearts into this show. From our incredibly special principals (absolute stars: @melmelcampbell , @alanissophia , @divadevo86 , @bkonbway , @iamuniquelyken , @collinsalvatore , and four very talented kids), to our superb ensemble and unstoppably dedicated swings (special shout-out to @rattyontheroad !)… I couldn’t be prouder. Many have already stepped into the tracks they cover, and the way they lift one another up in those moments is the mark of a truly great TEAM. Working with them all has been so meaningful. I feel so lucky. I adore this group of humans, and I hope everyone gets to see this outstanding company on tour with Mrs. Doubtfire. It’s the greatest privilege to continue sharing @jerryjzaks ’ deeply funny and moving work around the country and now around the world. It is a badge of honor I wear with endless pride. Happy closing to Doubtfire West End. What an unforgettable journey it’s been. This show has brought so many special people into my life. Enduring friendships that were forged or continued to grow in audition rooms in Regent’s Park, in sweaty rehearsal rooms in Three Mills studios during a heat wave, over Sunday roasts in Manchester, during dinner breaks in Seven Dials, enjoying Dishoom whenever possible, and finally at the tech table in the Shaftesbury. I’m so proud of the joy Euphegenia has spread in Manchester and London. 1.15.23 Today, @musicmanbway closes. What a joy it’s been to work on Meredith Willson’s masterwork these past years. I am so grateful for my time in River City. I will miss Harold Hill and Marian Paroo and all the “citizians” from this colorful world. There are so many old friends who it was wonderful to be in the room with again. And NEW friends who I’d dreamed of working with. And then there are the kids. The kids! The Broadway debuts, the life journeys! I am proud of everyone involved with the show.
