Happy closing to Millions! I had the privilege to work on this beautiful show at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. The costume shop there was beyond fabulous; it was amazing to work with all the talented staff members. Thank you so much to Catherine Zuber for bringing me along for the adventure!
I still think about this dress almost everyday! I am so grateful to @outthebell for bringing my dreams to life. This gown was worn by the fabulous @savannahlee_thatsme as Countess Charlotte in A Little Night Music. The striking chartreuse color matched Charlotte’s witty and cutting remarks during the dinner scene. I wanted to evoke the meticulous glamour and sharpness of the character. I was also inspired by Piero Tosi’s costumes from the film L’Innocente. Capturing the drama and flair of the belle époque period. Olivia carefully studied the period research I was inspired by, and expertly draped every fold and curve. Like most of the members of my small and nimble team, Evan managed many elements and supported everyone.
As our costume designer coordinator and his first job after moving to NYC, Evan often had the job of doing “everything” ( picking up and delivering costumes, organizing and recording receipts, swatching fabric and a little rhinestoning) and while that is the best way to get started when you move to NY, I also want him to know how much I appreciate him and his beautiful silk flowers (one of which made my press appearances for Wicked).

Back in the summer of 2022, I wanted to learn more about film and television so I set out for Hollywood! I ended up finding work as a PA for a new movie, and it’s finally out! Working on The Electric State was such an unforgettable experience. I learned so much from the talented team, lessons I still think about everyday! I’m so grateful to costume designer, Judianna Makovsky, for bringing me onto the project. She is a fabulous mentor and inspiring leader. I think Hunger Games, which she designed, might have been one of the reasons I got started in costumes! The movie is out on Netflix this weekend. February was a busy month!! I made my double off broadway debut! I loved getting to assist my former professor @oliveragajic_ on a new comedy staring some fabulous actresses. And my first Shakespeare, Henry IV, designed by the marvelous Cathy Zuber and @alexand3rcole . As you can tell from the photos, it was a very serious job. The shows couldn’t be more different which is what I love about theatre! What a great way to start 2025!
Happy Opening to Death Becomes Her! 💜🌟 My first Broadway opening night was a blast! I am so so lucky to have worked on this fabulous show with such marvelous people. It was a dream come true to work with @paultazewell , someone I’ve looked up to for so long. I was in constant awe of his elegance and creativity.
