Watching the process of this film being made as a voyeur has been absolutely MENTAL. From the audition tape which feels like 14 years ago, to Jake bringing home a small bottle of Prosecco when he found out he got a role in his first ever film, to us telling everyone he was in a low budget gay porn by a first time feature director, to finding out it would star Skarsgard and Melling and being more than slightly relieved, to wondering if it would have a cinema release, to watching it go to Cannes and then come to the BFI, spotting Jake in the trailer and then witnessing the whole thing absolutely blow up, crying my way through my first Dom-Com, meeting the legends behind it and then being in London every day this week and seeing enormous orange posters on every tube- it has blown my mind. So I can’t imagine what it’s like for someone who actually has ANYTHING to do with it 😂 I urge everyone to see it, not just to witness
