At the western edge of the peninsula, the The Stein Inn has stood beside the harbour for centuries. Our new self catering apartment is now open for bookings and our sea view rooms. Mixing the old with the new. Decorated with some beautiful antique / vintage pieces .. we managed to get them here.. phew ..🌻and modern designers and of course our lovely local producers right on our door step. Scallops just delivered. Hand dived,local n sustainable and large, roasted in their shells. As soon as they’re in we will get onto your plate even if busy .. all shellfish a radius where you can skim a pebble at .. so not far .. 🩵 good to know where it comes from .. its Providence is important to us .. and everything used .again, shells galore etc, (last night made me smile as guests were asking for all their shell’s to be put in a doggy bag to make their own bisque, love it! ), and recycled to keep us sustainable and what we believe in.. A really huge thank you to @lucygillmore and to the @guardian 🤍🩵 for including us in today’s “Highlands & islands Travel Scotland Special - we are extremely chuffed to bits, forever thankful and as always humbled to be included in this and along with other wonderful places to stay and of course eat n drink which are on my bucket list to visit..
