The bake sales we’ve produced have always relied on good old fashioned word of mouth in lieu of traditional promotion or media placements: Friends telling friends, authors writing about it on their newsletters, chefs letting their regulars know, aforementioned collages, yapping about it ad infinitum, quarter cards at your coffee shop, etc. So it feels like a big, big coup to actually have FUN with the media churn this time around while ALSO getting support from some of the best names in the biz: from NYC icons

I’ve never hosted one in the fall before (aka NYC’s busiest season) so it was an honor to be included in the mix. It could not have happened without
