Finding your place can change everything. ❤️💛
For #StanGrad Jelaine Joy Esguerra, Stan State became a space to step forward, build community and support others along the way.
As a first-generation student, she turned new experiences into action, leading campus initiatives, creating spaces for student well-being and helping others feel seen and supported.
“I found a community that made campus feel like home.”
From starting a NAMI chapter to advocating for student-centered spaces, Jelaine’s impact will continue to shape the Warrior experience for those who come next.
📚🏆 Excellence on and off the field.
28 Warrior student-athletes were inducted into the second class of the California Upsilon Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, recognizing their commitment to academic and athletic achievement. The group combined for an outstanding 3.76 GPA while continuing to represent Stan State at the highest level in competition.
Congratulations to this year’s inductees for setting the standard in the classroom and in their sport! ❤️🖤

Last week, Admissions Counselor Selina Hernandez was out celebrating Senior Signing Day and connecting with admitted Fall ‘26 students across the region ❤️💛
From Mt. Diablo High School, to Health Careers Academy High School in Stockton, to Escalon High School’s first-ever Senior Signing Day, we loved sharing in these special moments with future Warriors.
No matter the visit or the event, we are thrilled to be welcoming new Warriors to campus this fall. Admitted Fall 2026 students still have until June 1 to accept their admission. Welcome, Warriors!
For #StanGrad Samuel Villanueva, certainty started with a question about what came next. What followed was persistence, trust in the process and a commitment to keep showing up.
From a quiet first year to team captain, Samuel helped lead Stan State men’s soccer to one of the most successful seasons in program history. Along the way, he built a legacy defined by leadership, hard work and belief in something bigger than himself.
“Stan State has taught me to always trust the process.”
Wherever his path leads, his goal remains the same. To motivate others and help them find the best version of themselves. ❤️💛

Students showing up and building what comes next. ❤️💛
At the JAMEN (Journalism and Media Education Network) Summit, Stan State students joined faculty, partners and peers from across the region to explore how storytelling shapes our communities.
From high school classrooms to college programs and into careers, these conversations are building real pathways for the next generation of journalists and media professionals in the Central Valley.
Learning grows through connection, collaboration and being present where the work is happening.
POV: One last walk through the campus that changed everything. 🎓💛❤️
From the first-day hello to final goodbye… #StanState will always be part of our story.

Strength can take many forms. ❤️💛
For #StanGrad Heather Oram, it meant choosing to move forward, step by step and trusting that something more was possible.
At Stan State, Heather found community, support and a sense of purpose. Through programs like Project Rebound @projectreboundstanstate and Disability Resource Services @stanstatedrs , they built connections and turned new opportunities into meaningful impact.
“What statistics do not account for is that no amount of data can take away one’s drive to rise above.”
From research to advocacy, Heather’s journey reflects the power of perseverance, curiosity and belief in a better future.
