Text in video reads: DRS Front Desk vs. DRS Alt Media
Video description: The video begins with DRS student assistants at the front desk frantically working. They are letting people in through the back, answering emails and phone calls, typing at the computer, and being given more tasks by the staff. In contrast, DRS Alt Media student assistants are working peacefully at their work stations, skipping into the office, and having friendly conversations with their peers.

Your donations will help DRS purchase accessible technology equipment for students, ensuring we can provide equal access to Stan State students with disabilities. Digital recorders (like the one pictured here) are used by students to record their lectures - being able to play lectures back later helps students with disabilities who may otherwise miss information in the classroom. A gift of $52 will provide DRS with one recorder, which students rent and return each semester. One digital recorder can help many students through their academic journey!
Gifts of any size matter - every bit counts! A gift of $20 can supply a closed-caption delivery system for our hard-of-hearing students, and $500 can provide a student with an iPad for ASL services.
Your donation does more than just help level the academic playing field for students with disabilities. Stan State students with disabilities graduate and enter careers in many different fields, and your donation plays a part in creating a world where people with disabilities are more seen and heard, and continue to thrive in school, the workplace, and beyond.
To give, click our Campsite (link in our bio) and find "1960 Minutes of Giving" under the events section.

From April 22nd at 7 a.m. to April 23 at 3:40 p.m., we will be counting donations in real-time, but it is never too early to give and every contribution helps regardless how large or small! Your donation can help us purchase equipment to provide student accommodations.
