My support cannot be understated, family and friends have supported me through this entire prep and kept me grounded throughout it all. Couldn’t ask for a more loving and supporting family.
Also appreciate everyone on here reaching out🫶🏻
Thank you so much @stage_alchemy for all your work backstage. Kane you are the best brother.
We did this without a coach but we did have the best training partner I could ask for.. my dad.
Getting him on stage with me to lift the trophy was super special. Love you dad❤️
Love this sport.

2026 so far: 6 weeks apart between competing in APL Powerlifting Pro and ICN Men’s Physique & Classic Bodybuilding was absolutely insane 😂😂 Definitely do not recommend prepping for both sports at the same time 😮💨
However, competing in both powerlifting and bodybuilding is definitely possible, but it’s one of the more difficult combinations to balance at a high level. Both sports place very different demands on the body, so you need a strong foundation from the start and a very well structured approach to training, nutrition, recovery, and overall fatigue management on a day to day basis.
If programmed correctly and given enough time for the body to adapt, the two sports can actually complement each other rather than work against one another. The muscle mass developed through bodybuilding can improve leverages and overall strength potential, while the strength gained from powerlifting can help create a denser, more powerful physique. The key is knowing when to prioritise performance, when to prioritise physique, and how to manage recovery between both demands.
Generally, transitioning from powerlifting into bodybuilding is more achievable because powerlifting already builds a strong base of muscle mass, strength, discipline, and compound lifting experience. In contrast, moving from bodybuilding into powerlifting can be more challenging, as bodybuilding training doesn’t always develop the same level of maximal strength, lifting efficiency, technical skill, and nervous system adaptation required for heavy compound movements.

Those last touch-ups before you hit the stage are like sparks of magic.
That final moment of confidence, knowing you’re about to stand under those lights looking the best you ever have.
At @stage_alchemy , we take that feeling very seriously ✨
October 2024 vs May 2026
1 year and 7 months of progress, 6.2kg weight difference. A lot has improved and definitely were able to retain more muscles while getting leaner during prep compared to 2024 but there’s still more to bring up and more to learn.

(03/05/2026) 2 of 3 - ICN SA Show.
A journey out to South Australia for Jesse this weekend, as he competes in the ICN SA show.
🥉 𝗠𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻
𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻
It was another invaluable experience for Jesse travelling & managing things interstate for the first time, as he goes up head to head in a stacked Men’s Fitness & Men’s Physique line-up.
The preparation for this experience will certainly prove worthy for Jesse next week, as he prepares for his next interstate show.
For now, we will continue to re-dial our focus in and prepare for our final show on the 9th of May 🔒
I couldn’t be any more proud of Jesse, as he delivered a solid performance today.
He has continued to give his best towards all the other variables in his life no matter how hard it gets, whilst juggling this Competition Prep 🤝🏻
Thank you to Kim & his team at @icn_sa for hosting a great show, taking care of all the athletes.
Thank you to @monica_scardigno_beauty and her team, getting Jesse ready for his show with a good tan.
Thank you to @vicstar_11posingcoach for always guiding Jesse through his posing for both respective categories.
The @stage_alchemy tanners (minus @k__evie__ann ) we absolutely love being apart of your comp experience. Grateful to @icn_sa for having us be apart of the fun. We are so excited for tomorrow 🎉
