Ran into the homie @adriakain at the @estudio.niksen pop up when I went to go meet @rururonquillo & @abadhoe for a cute lil shopping moment. Adria and I got to chatting and I became aware of a lil listening experience she was putting together at the absolutely wonderful @rhythm__space here in the city.
Naturally we got to scheming and dreaming and I thought it’d be a nice addition to the experience given that Adria was thinking of creating a space that felt like “HOME” - a space for people to come chill out, listen to the album in headphones if they wanted and to just spend some time and energy together.
Adria came by the studio for a visit, we smelled some oils and caught up about upcoming things. A gift to lean in to what I love and to provide a smoke rich back drop for the experience, ever cleansing and allowing for the moment to be fully immersed in. Thanks for accepting the offer my friend!
Listening experience live in the space at Rhythm today until 6pm. Hope you find yourself there, enjoying a nice coffee or tea, blessed by the ambiance and soaked in the sounds of this amazing album.

Join Ruru Baked (@rurubaked )and SSSOAPS for a hands-on ice cream and incense making workshop. The workshop starts with learning the overview of churning and filling pints and in the process you’ll make your own custom pints to take home with you! Using two Ruru Baked classic ice cream flavours and a selection of Ruru Baked mixins (don’t be afraid to BYO mixins!) Next up, while our pints freeze, we’ll watch and learn how to create our beloved sponge toffee. While our pints freeze, we switch gears slightly and partake in a guided scent exploration with Sandro Petrillo of SSSOAPS. We’ll be exploring materials and hand rolling our own custom scented incense cones to take home and enjoy. We’ll indulge in an ice cream tasting of Ruru Baked’s current flavours and once wrapped up you’ll leave with your custom pints, a bag of sponge toffee, and your incense cones. *Keep in mind; we want you to get the most out of the workshop so we encourage questions throughout the whole process
