Filed under — doing dope things that I love for people I love being around ☺️ Ran into the homie @adriakain at the @estudio.niksen pop up when I went to go meet @rururonquillo & @abadhoe for a cute lil shopping moment. Adria and I got to chatting and I became aware of a lil listening experience she was putting together at the absolutely wonderful @rhythm__space here in the city. Naturally we got to scheming and dreaming and I thought it’d be a nice addition to the experience given that Adria was thinking of creating a space that felt like “HOME” - a space for people to come chill out, listen to the album in headphones if they wanted and to just spend some time and energy together. Adria came by the studio for a visit, we smelled some oils and caught up about upcoming things. A gift to lean in to what I love and to provide a smoke rich back drop for the experience, ever cleansing and allowing for the moment to be fully immersed in. Thanks for accepting the offer my friend! Listening experience live in the space at Rhythm today until 6pm. You’ve brought with you many energetic complexities, your desire for the edible components of life is extremely inspiring when it comes to following your dreams. The cuddle love you provide is unmatched and the glue you’ve brought to the relationship @rururonquillo and I have fostered through our collective caring for your quality of life is something I’ll always be grateful for. 15 years is a feat and you are still tough as nails, slightly more sass in your walk but 105 dog years later and you can truly walk however the frick you want to. You’re either about it OR not - and one of the most beautiful and cherished gifts of life is that we have the choice in any moment to switch it up or maintain the course && 2 Get With It. Our agency and held privilege of choosing, cultivating and expanding our path leads us in directions we could have once not thought possible. Collective healing is real, collective protection is beautiful and POWERFUL - acknowledging experience and paths crossed can lead to understanding; and a further nurtured landing into the great oneness that we exist within. Grateful for the signs pointing the way and the eyes to see them, the ears to hear them, the touch to hold them and the love to expand them. Some truly beautiful moments shared as of late - a culmination of witnessing; seeing strength in others. Honouring the protector being within all the while holding the truth that one does not simply lean on a single role, but that we contain multitudes, shape shifting our presence to best raise the vibration. This story got likely the most response out of the majority of stories I’ve shared so I figured it should live in the feed. Many of y’all chimed in with beautiful words and shared sentiment & I just wanna say I really appreciate the community we’ve all cultivated together. I stand behind this statement whole heartedly - it was a channeled message when I woke up the morning I shared this. A message from beyond my psyche that apparently hit the nail on the head for many, the timing was a beautiful reminder and a good prompt to listen even deeper into my intuition. Collective healing is a real treasure, we’re in this thing called life, and we’re in it together. Sending love to all, especially those plagued with selfish behaviour - it’s more than possible to tap into a shared feeling and I’m grateful for yall showing up in beautiful ways. This app can certainly push many narratives, some can be very distracting but if we turn to a resonance of betterment amongst the fluff I truly believe we’re moving in a beautiful direction. Heart full after a beautiful trip back to the ol stomp — the sweet precious YYC, the place of my youth and the holder of cherished energies. There’s something so special about the place; some of my nearest and dearest are there and wow do they give me the feels. We’ve been in Toronto for 11~ years now and while my memory of street names fade when it comes to back home, there’s a familiar and growing sentiment that embodies my connection to that land and the energies upon it. Seeing your friends and family grow, evolve, shift, explore and sink deeper into the beautiful beings they are is something im so grateful for. In the past I’d get a bit overwhelmed going back, attempting to divide my time while not feeling pulled in every direction… a once difficult task to navigate in a previous version of my being. This time felt different though, maybe it’s a sense of opening up, an expanded state of connection, a welcoming of communal bond and the treasure that forms within it. No doubt it’s such a gift to have music as a vessel to carry me westward - tapping into a scene I’ve put so much energy into over the years. A scene I love deeply, a scene that’s held me and continues to expand my horizons. The thread of sound is an amazing one. Harmonious connections that shake us in the best ways. Conversations steeped in spring energy, planted seeds of intention and one giant barrel of laughs along the way. So many experiments ‘for science’ and a constant state of awe for our collective findings. Love you pals, love you Calgary, love you Self. Honorable mention to the birds, trees and the great Moon. We are Portals — Acceptance and attachment are ours to play with and explore, while at the same time we can lean on others to help us navigate and to help us. A wise woman taught me lessons around forgiveness, what it means as a practice and who it’s for. A being such as myself can form deep levels of attachment, often leading to an inner wrestling of the mind and the emotions contained in the body. I’ve learned a handful of seemingly simple yet enormously powerful techniques of cultivating a grounded connection to the self and the great beyond. Visualization techniques, breathwork practices, body work, intentional release through ritual and a few esoteric tricks some of yall would scoff at 🙄 That said, along the way I’ve experienced a series of massive pain points. Attachments to unhealthy connections. I wrestled with closing chapters, I left a sliver of a portal open for potential elevated future engagement. I’m grateful to now realize this is both an active & passive behaviour that’s not doing anyone any favors. I did some work this week and had some conversations with said wise woman. The weight lifted is immense. Those slivers I had open are sewn closed. I constantly wish wonderful growth for all. Most of yall id love to cross and form paths with, while some I’ve known can continue onward while they respectively go f*ck themselves. I’m remembering where I came from, amplifying the light I possess and doubling down on the love I treat my people with. Tip that shit over, I would once dare you, thing is I no longer use my energy on these efforts. In fact I call back all the energy I once allowed these other portals to hold. Trust & bless up, this message is encoded with a deep magic. A connection to our Earth Mother and the Cosmos beyond. The great Animal Spirits and the Wisdoms the Rocks hold. I trust it finds you where you are, in YOUR truth. My community is growing and I see you. While this era of revelation is abrasive as Frick, our light will reveal the dark and the future looks bright — We are Portals.

Once a year, on December 18th… we get to celebrate the continual cycle of this absolute wonderful gem of a human!
