Exile returns to @rhythm__space and invites artists who have helped shape Toronto’s electronic music landscape over the years, @ciel_dj and @sergio___sp , joining @audiospace__ for a night rooted in the local scene and the dance floor it has grown around. 🇨🇦 Toronto born and based Ciel is widely recognized for her adventurous DJ sets and distinctive production work. Her releases span labels such as Peach Discs, Spectral Sound and !K7, including her debut album Homesick. As a DJ she moves comfortably between styles and tempos, weaving together psychedelic techno, bass driven club music and euphoric moments with a strong sense of narrative. Over the past years she has performed at venues such as Berghain Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson and fabric, as well as festivals including Draaimolen, Dimensions, Movement and MUTEK. 🇨🇦 Sergio SP, the project of Toronto artist Sergio Petrillo, has been active within Canada’s underground dance community for nearly two decades. His path has moved through warehouses, forest festivals and small improvised spaces across the country. His sets are patient and hypnotic, focused on rhythm, warmth and the subtle shifts that happen between people on the dance floor. 🇬🇪 Hosting the night is Audio Space, founder of Exile. Originally from Tbilisi, he emerged during the early formation of Georgia’s electronic music culture and became part of the generation that helped shape its identity. Through long form sets focused on tension, groove and atmosphere, he carries a sensibility shaped by underground community spaces, from improvised garage parties to well known festival stages and clubs across Europe. With much anticipation leaning into this upcoming spring / summer / season of warmth and outdoor dancing I share my set from last year (2025) playing the sunset slot at The Cabin stage at @basscoastfest Was a beautiful occasion and I felt really good about this one! Still do tbh - builder steeped in a deep intention to send there dancers into a night of wonderful music and collective experience. A sort of sketch of the evening - I’d open the project periodically and tinker with it.
