SUNDAY 22ND FEB - SPOOL 011 back in the café once again for the last Sunday of the month. this time @kelan_uk joins us to present the rest of his taste beyond the club, ahead of his DJ set at @accidentalmeetings ’s SACCADE in April (do not miss). Also our first returning guest (spool 002), dear friend and human electronic music encyclopaedia Raphael Petrarca will be back behind the table. Host @thomasridley__ will open the first hour or so with this month’s obsessions. The bar will be serving good coffee, beer, wine, and cocktails, including some 0% options . Families welcome, dogs encouraged.

SPOOL 007 - sunday 29th june 2025 feat @ssslip___ @perfect_combat_ and @thomasridley__ 1500-2000 we’re back at bar57 next week, distracting ourselves from the fact we’re not at glastonbury, with a special afternoon session. i’ve been trying to get @ssslip___ in for ages. his productions via his @sss__________ imprint, and more recently @gridrec are amongst the best coming out of bristol, so i’m very excited to see what he brings to our afternoon session. and very glad to have spool regular @perfect_combat_ behind the mixer for the first time, with a sun-drenched collage to wind us down. as always the bar will serving good coffee, tea, cocktails, beer cider and wine. dogs and kids welcome.

SPOOL returns this Sunday November 24th at the earlier time of 1200-1700, and will be our last of 2024. For our third edition, Ukrainian musician and jewellery maker @regina_collage_ will be playing a range of underground music from her home nation, and also exhibiting and selling some of her @_ferzom_ jewellery range. Also, @james.myr , of @wetware.av @elevatorsoundbristol and machinabristronica, will be sharing an hour of not-for-the-club tunes. And as always @thomasridley__ will be play the first hour or so to warm us up.
