I work with my students’ personal goals and access needs, so you can expect a safe, informal, organic and playful space that’s free of judgement, where mistakes are seen as the best learning points. My unique skill lies in multi-genre and free form musical journeys — I enjoy an eclectic list of genres, including but not limited to: dubstep/140, DnB/halftime, jungle, juke/footwork, garage, electro, breaks, house/techno, trance, hip hop, post-rock, indie, metal and all kinds of pop music. I wrote a piece for @bosh.zine a few years ago, spotlighting the albums that made me. It is now a little more fleshed out and on my Substack 🔗 I might make this a series because the list is just never-ending for a melophile! “I really appreciate and respect a well made album; strong openers, climatic ear-worms, lush wind-downs, and closing with a cadence so bittersweet or melancholic that make you want to put the album back on again. Here are the key albums that shaped me as a person as well as my musical taste, which lends itself to the way I arrange my sets and mixtapes now. These are albums I know inside-out, every word and riff, from rinsing them since I first heard them (and still do). Instead of ranking them, I’ve picked a track from each release and arranged them to play like an album. Enjoy the ride.”
