Spatial Operations '0'

SPATIAL OPERATIONS ‘0’ was an independent design studio program developed and taught by Lachlan Welsh. Convening in At The Above gallery across six weeks, students engaged in site-based research and visual production outside the limits of traditional architectural practice. Leading international thinkers were invited for a public lecture series that explored the notion of operationality in contemporary spatial practice. This book recounts the activities of the program and collates the research dossiers produced by the students, each uncovering the complexities and governing operations of contested sites.
