In 2023, I had the privilege of sitting down with 6 incredible artists for honest, open conversations about where they were in their lives at that moment. What makes The Creativeās Diary so special is that these episodes were filmed over a year ago, capturing a snapshot in timeājust like entries in a diary.
A diary allows us to look back, reflect, and reconnect with a version of ourselves from the past, and this series mirrors that concept. These conversations serve as a time capsule for each artistās journey, showing us their challenges, growth, and creativity in real-time.

I believe that Documentary filmmaking gives the freedom to build visual intention beyond just capturing moments.
For Rashanās return to his alma mater, I wanted the imagery to feel distinct from his native Bronx, NY, almost like stepping into another world.
Albany became more than a location; it became a visual representation of transition, growth, and perspective during his collegiate years.
I chose to shoot with the Sirui 20mm S35 f/1.8 Anamorphic lens to help shape that feeling. The wide field of view and 1.33x anamorphic stretch created an immersive look that emphasized scale, separation, and atmosphere in a way that felt true to the story.
Every lens choice, every frame, every movement should support the emotion and psychology of the narrative. Thatās the beauty of it.

Itās been a month since Warrior Series 3 at the Infosys Theater inside Madison Square Garden and Iām still hype about it.
Straight adrenaline behind the lens nonstop action, epic fights, real energy all the way through. One of those shoots that just reminds you how fun this really is.

Honored to have Directed and DPād on this profile piece for the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund with the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
We traveled to Philadelphia to film a day in the life of Rev. Dr. Mark Kelly Tyler, documenting his journey through the city, its history, and the legacy he continues to uphold being a grant recipient for Mother Bethel AME Church. From riding through historic streets with his Fraternity Motorcycle Group to moments grounded in reflection, this story was about movement, purpose, and preservation rooted in African American History.
