Soft Domination is about defying boundaries, embodying a punk attitude and not following the rules. Yet moving with softness. SOFT DOMINATION is a concept I’ve had floating around in my brain for some years. I’m ecstatic to finally materialise and introduce this figment of my imagination into the real world. The name was inspired by the photo on the second slide by fetish/ kink photographer @sorryjonnydied . After my friend @kwaye saw it he quoted, “It’s giving Soft Domme.” And from there the project’s name was born.   It encapsulates my obsession with juxtaposition, which applies to my artistic practice. I’ve always had an affinity with soft and hard elements. From my fashion sense to my music taste and the latter. SOFT DOMINATION is about defying boundaries, embodying a punk attitude and not following the rules. Yet moving with softness. The statement pictured reads: SOFT DOMINATION IS FOR: THE ONES WHO ARE HERE FOR A SOFT COME UP. THE ONES WHO AREN’T IN A SPRINT, BUT A MARATHON. THE ONES WHO CAN’T BE SQUISHED INTO A BOX. THE SOFTLY DOES IT FOLK. THE ONES WHO BELIEVE THERE IS SPACE FOR EVERYONE TO FLOURISH. THE ONES WHO SOFTLY TAKEOVER. THE SLOW BURNERS. THE ABUNDANCE MIND-SETTERS. THE ONES HERE FOR A SOFT AND LONG TIME. SOFTCORE 24/7. This is just the beginning, watch this space. The limits are endless. 🫧

FLINTA DJ & PRODUCERS: CHAT & LINK UP   Hosted by @soft_domination , the first link up will take place on Tuesday 3rd March, 19:00-22:30 @thepostbartottenham . Entry is free, just head to the 🔗🌳 to secure your space now. These link up sessions will be a space for FLINTA* (Women, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Asexual) DJs and Producers across all levels and the electronic spectrum to come together to discuss and talk about their experiences in the music industry. A space to share, listen or learn - we want this to be a place which gives space to FLINTA artists to decompress, empower and connect. This idea has been swimming around my head for some time and is long overdue. Massively inspired by my experiences attending @ladiesmusicpub , a space which was integral to giving me confidence in pursuing and finding my footing in this tricky terrain. There will be open decks on a first come, first serve basis too for those who’d like to share their music once the chatting is done. A big shout out to @lightgaluk who has been helping me behind the scenes, to secure the venue, provide decks and more. Community is really how you make the dream work. Soft Domination is an ethos, more than a radio show or a party. It’s about bringing more softness, kindness, and humanity into the world with power and mindfully. Breaking down boundaries and encouraging more openness and freedom to awaken your curiosity.

What a year 2025 has been! 🥰 My biggest take aways from this year is that loss is a blessing in disguise and it’s usually opening up the pathway for people and opportunities better aligned with you. Meaning you just get closer and embedded in your truth. 📈 Secondly that you need to build your own table and chairs, to help enable you to pull your own community up. @soft_domination 🧱 I met and truly deepened some bonds with other people in the music scene who renewed my faith that there are others who are here because they actually care about their art, who want to bring positive change through it and be the channellers we’ve been gifted to be. Abundance mindsetters came to hither. 🔊 It’s been a mind-blowing year, where I’ve played from to 🇧🇷 to 🇺🇦 to 🇭🇷 to my home London Town. And played places which wasn’t even on my checklist. ✨ I’ll be keeping my heart open as ever, as we step into next chapter which is 2026. I cannot wait to beckon this new energy in. See you on the other side. 🎉

The final @soft_domination @fabriclondonofficial , Sunday 30th November really did exceed expectations. It showed that power, force doesn’t just come in the form of numbers but through energy, synergy, curiosity and just good music. I was honoured to be able to host an all black FLINTA line up featuring artists, I’ve been admiring and have seen flying through the ranks the last few years: @secretluvvr @_.hezen._ and @iyeshaaaaaa . All power houses in this own right. @iyeshaaaaaa and shelled Room 3 down till close, surfing from techno, grime to drum and bass. What I’m loving about these events is sonically you just got to jump on ride, but the destination is fully dependent on the crowd in the room. It’s a mystery. All I guarantee is immaculate vibes and the rest is really up to you. Everyone is welcome here, just respect what you’re stepping into. Thanks to everyone the artist liaison, management and @jacobhusley who’s made my dreams possible. Soft Domination will be back next year in some form, so keep your eyes and ears locked and loaded. ✨🦋✨
