It’s PMDD awareness month so I just wanted to take some time to talk about this condition. Just feel like I need a big vent, hopefully connect with other friends who also suffer from it so we can support each other and also bring it to people’s attention if they haven’t heard of it. The current understanding of PMDD is that it’s the brains abnormal reactions to extreme hormone fluctuations. It’s more present in people who also have ADHD (me) as our system is already extremely sensitive to changes in our body and surroundings. I really appreciate anyone who has a read through this. Even though I posted my face just for extra attention on the post as a whole, I’m not making it all about me. I just feel like it’s a serious issue nobody talks about or is educated on, and if I can help bring some awareness by offering some insight into my life, then maybe it can cause even the smallest ripple effect to help or validate someone else down the line.
