Remember to thank your technicians and staffâ
There's so many people behind the scenes making sure SOA runs smoothly and helping us bring our creative visions to life! We couldn't do it without all your hard work, skill, and patience.
Make sure you give the technicians, staff and custodial crew all a big THANK YOU whenever you can!
And a special thank you to Ashkan Nejadebrahimi, SOA Video Technician, who is off to Video Poolđ

Campus Goes Central: Until May 16th
Thereâs still time to stop by @marthastreetstudio to discover an incredible selection of student printmaking from the School of Art.
From first-time printers to graduating students, weâre so excited to showcase just a fraction of the talent at SOA!
đExhibition run: May 1st - May 16th, 2026
đGallery open: 10 â 5 Tuesday to Saturday
Exhibition description by Abi Deibert and Max Snidal:
Campus goes Central: Print Edition is a celebration of the incredible skill and effort that the University of Manitobaâs School of Art students demonstrate in their art practice. This exhibition aims to increase visibility for emerging student printmakers by transporting their work from campus to downtown Winnipeg, transforming Martha Street Studio into a collection of student made work. With the intention of acknowledging the enthusiasm and vigor that the students dedicate to their craft, Campus goes Central strives to highlight voices that are typically restricted to exhibition at the university, merging two separate art scenes to expose each to what the other has to offer. With boundless energy and fresh ideas, this assortment of work demonstrates how the School of Artâs students are redefining printmaking on their own terms.
