I've had the best time in Nashville and Muscle Shoals, working with one of my favourite artists on the planet! My musical journey with @kathleenreganmusic has known some of my favorite musical memories. I have had an absolute blast working on songs with her and her amazingly talented friends in Nashville. We love melancholy, but we must've felt exceptionally nostalgic the day we wrote this with @brianbakerstanley what a blast!
And how epic to then have the amazing @noahgundersen do a beautiful feature on it, and having @andyrecording putting the story to canvas. Love it!

Ever once in a while you write something that just falls out of you, like it's someone else's song. They are the moments that are truly inspiring, and that feeling will be with you for a long time. Writing this song with @kathleenreganmusic was like that.. just two friends having a conversation about the important things in life, and letting that and the evening shape whatever music would come out of us. Kathleen and I have always talked about trusting the process, and I'm very happy we did! 5 hours of talking and 1 hour of writing.. maybe that's the formula.

New release by @kathleenreganmusic !! The best way to work on your co-writing might be to work on your friendship, and I feel like the last couple of years with Kathleen are a testimony to that. As we talked about the important things we invited music in, and wrote a bunch of songs that are hugely personal and genuine. 'world on fire' being the first to be released! It's my absolute pleasure to work with an artist as passionate as Kathleen, but trust me, its even nicer to be her friend from that small ass place in Europe!
