Waaaaaah!! Loyal friend of the night has stepped into the daylight, she’s awake and alive!!! I’m feeling relieved in a certain way.
The newest song Mad, is now out and the final part of this EP. All I want to say about this song is that everyone is mad, and if you ever in doubt about if you are, I promise you!!! you actually are!! congrats 🙂↕️ Now I’m going to go dance in my room because I’m happy this body of work has been released. :)
I’m really honoured to have worked with @sergedusault@simonleferink on these songs. I love you guys so so so much and can’t wait to play these songs coming Tuesday with you in Paradiso. As well as with the rest of the band 💌 ps there are still some tickets left! but be quick!!!

tjels speelde gisteren bij 3voor12 Radio in de livebox! Vorige week bracht ze haar EP ‘Loyal Friend Of The Night’ uit, waar ze 3 tracks van speelde. Check het via de link in bio.
Tijdens de Popronde wist tjels met haar betoverende folkliedjes menig zaal stil te krijgen. Op Noorderslag liet ze met een vierkoppige band horen dat haar muziek net zo goed kan ontploffen. Safe to say: de verwachtingen waren hoog. Met haar nieuwe EP lost ze die honderd procent in. Loyal Friend of the Night is een prachtige verzameling liedjes die klinkt als een nacht waarin je net iets te diep in je eigen hoofd duikt. ‘Ik denk dat ik vaak als een beetje een raar persoon word geïnterpreteerd,’ zegt ze lachend, ‘en de avond trekt rare mensen aan.’
