@simonyuproductions had the honor to livestream the @berkleecollege Commencement concert and ceremony this year at the @agganisarena ! As a Berklee alumni I graduated in this exact same space almost 20yrs ago and it is a pleasure to complete the circle. Trying my new @akgaudio C114 condenser microphone with my acoustic guitars. The Martin was recorded solely with the C114 and the ESP Nylon string was a mix of the mic and pickup through my @apogeedigital One V2 audio interface. Sounded pretty good! It has a good balance of bottom end and smooth high ends. Hope you like my interpretation of Mariah Carey’s Portrait. #akg #mariahcarey #liverecording #acousticguitars #martinguitars
The recap video of the Coldplay Singers Showcase is now out on @berkleecollege YouTube Channel! This is my favorite production @berkleebpc so far. Not only we have over 100 talented Berklee musicians and dancers from @bostonconservatory performed on stage, the staff and faculty team also did a beautiful work on the musical arrangements, set design, lighting design, LED wall content design, LED wrist bands and also projecting interactive visuals by our guest performer @mariafinkelmeier We captured and live-streamed the concerts with 12 cameras this time and also provided 3 switchable camera feeds for the IMAG on the LED walls. Congratulations to @meitalwald_music for the release of her first single “Hayu Leilo” (There Were Nights) from her upcoming EP “Kisufim”. I love that the whole band recorded live in the same room, it captures the incredible synergy between the musicians and the beautiful natural sound of the space. @bunkerstudio flexibility made this kind of session possible, and big shoutout to audio engineer @_alexconroy_ for capturing and mixing it so beautifully. Today’s weapon of choice for a last minute outdoor photoshoot. I used the Canon R5C with RF 24-105 f2.8 lens without filters, this lens gives me a nice zoom range with shallow depth of field. Also I had a Canon EF 85mm f1.4 with a ND filer and a Tiffen Black Pro Mist filter, this gives me a dreamy image and beautiful bokeh at f1.4. The Fujifilm X100vi camera comes with a 23mm f2 lens and I have a CPL filter on it to improve color and contrast. I use the film emulation on the Fuji and the image looks gorgeous coming straight out from the camera. #photography #canon #fujifilm
