KEEP IT INDIE!!
The spectacular people at Bookshop.org are offering 20% off Time Jump, if you pre-order between 13-17 May. Use the code PREORDER20 to get the saving.
Pre-orders make a huge difference to authors, and this is a way to support indie bookshops, too. So much to love, people. It’s like the 90’s again, when we all had hope and hair.

You can change the past. Can you cheat fate?
Book world, it’s been a minute. I’m back with my 4th novel, Time Jump, courtesy of Renegade, on September 3rd. It’s a high concept, time travelling psychological thriller set in the 1990’s, as if Hitchcock was into Britpop… I’ll be sharing some insanely kind things previous writers have said about the book shortly, but for now, check out the synopsis. Pre-orders make a massive difference, and the link’s in my bio.
In 2026, time travel is a commodity to be bought just like any other. When Rachel unexpectedly gets the chance to Time Jump, she grabs it, landing back in 1997, five days before she accidentally killed Oliver Jones and destroyed her life. When she rewrites fate and finds Oliver in 2026, an alive and thriving politician who has opened a string of drug rehabilitation centres, the connection between them sparks into a fairy tale ending.
But fairy tales often turn out to be twisted and scary. As rumours begin to circulate about young women going missing from Oliver’s rehab centres, Rachel begins to suspect that perhaps the man she travelled back in time to save wasn’t an innocent lamb, but a monster in waiting . . .

When @itvlondon wanted the living embodiment of a 90's casualty to talk about the new 1996 exhibit at the @barbicanmusiclibrary , there was only one man they could call on. Even managed to plug the soon-to-be-announced next book which may or may not feature the 90's as I have literally no shame.
(It was mainly because of the @fuzzclothinguk parka)

Hid from Spurs in the @thesociallondon last night, checking out @ddywray and his debut novel Groovy, Laidback & Nasty, a history of indie music in Sheffield. The book sounds absolutely killer and it was kick-ass event. Congrats to Daniel, @t.n.o.b.l.e and @whiterabbitbks
Willy Vlautin is the man, man. Does more with a sentence than most of us will do with an entire career. I've come to his work late, but I'm making up for lost time. Inspirationally good.

In Cambridge for a family meet-up, and dropped into the thoroughly elite @bodiesinthebookshop - a genuinely special book shop specialising in crime novels. Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Picked up @alessandra_ranelli debut banger too...
I thought The Lamb by @lucyrosecreates was worth every last bit of praise it's had. A brilliant example of how something can be beautifully written, have a ton of depth, but be an old school page turner, too. Just my sort of fucked up.
This, planet earth, is how you banish difficult second book syndrome. A beautifully written, incredibly realised world that never forgets to kick ass, and has layers within layers within layers. Great work @sunyidean
@janice.hallett is an absolute magician. Has the supernatural ability to make you laugh and chill your spine, often in the same paragraph. As with The Appeal, I spent most of the book trying to decide which of the characters I was most like, and decided it was basically all of them. A total triumph, and a privilege to read before it drops in September. #TheSilentAppeal
